The recessionblocker

Catja Löfgren, 16 Nov 2008 (10:53)

I just found this link http://www.recessionblocker.com/
I think most of us are a little feed up with all the bad news coming out of the financial world right now. I just thought how cool this would be if I could do this to my offline sunday paper!
Happy Sunday y’all!

Been reeeeally busy lately …

Linda Lindstedt, 12 Nov 2008 (06:46)

The last 10 days been like a never ending rush hour for me. First of all I had friends here visiting, giving them the grand tour of Budapest, unfortunately I had to leave them half way through and head to Amsterdam.

I met up with the De-Construct team in Amsterdam to kick off some projects that I will be distance working with from Budapest. After 3 days in A’dam I jumped on a flight to Gothenburg, Sweden where my prescence was needed. I speed dated friends and after two days I went back to Budapest with new visitors in the baggage.

So there I was again, doing the grand tour and trying to be the perfect hostess when I most of all just wanted to sleep. The last week has been crazy. But fun. More fun than crazy I would say. Lots of work, late night with nice dinners and early mornings trying to catch flights or just getting up to be all sparkling and fantastic at work :)

Thanks Olivia+Johannes and Lotta+Katja for coming here.

Catja Löfgren, 03 Nov 2008 (04:20)

I’ve had a busy week / weekend we discovered on saturday night that all musuem was open until 5 in the morning. We went to the Rijkmuseum to check out Daimen Hirst diamond skull. We had to stand in line for 45 minutes crazy stuff! But it was great within the museum they had serveral dj’s and you were allowed to drink and stuff it was very nice walk around the old masters paintings a little tipsy. The skull was great I hadn’t excepted it to be soo cool!

(I have put the pics later. The photos are rather shady, due we were still in a museum, and you know how it goes no photos etc…)

Friday night pizza

Catja Löfgren, 13 Oct 2008 (10:05)

We went out for drink beers after work at our shady pub. After trying to find a place to eat with no success We decided to head back the office with some pizza that took like 2 hours to get I am still not used the slow lifestyle here it drives me nuts at times. We’ve finally got some furniture for our downstairs “livingroom”,I think it is going to be our hang out place it still smells like beer since last fridays big office party. Anyway, it was really great fun and some of our friends came over as well.I have alot of work but I can’t say nothing about it right now. It’s some rather exciting stuff. I hope y’all had a nice weekend it was super sunny and nice here in Amsterdam.

we are prepping for our housewarming party

Catja Löfgren, 01 Oct 2008 (06:40)

The entire London office is coming over to party with us on Friday. It is going to be interesting to say the least. We are getting some furniture to our otherwise very stark minimal styled office.

Kristina a super good Spanish illustrator is painting a mural downstairs ( I will upload some pics later) it looks great. I’ve alot of work which is fun, I like that we are soo few people in the office cuz that makes everyone be a part of most aspects of the stuff we are working on.

Text as it should be

Eskil Busck Andersen, 26 Sep 2008 (10:33)

I hate reading long texts full of useless details. Most books I read could be cut down to a 20 pages summary and still prove all the points. I feel the same way about movies by the way - Lord of the Rings, not really my thing. I guess that some of you feel the same way, whilst others really like the never ending story full of metaphors and fluff. (I’ll never become a great artist).

Here’s the solution that should work for both parts.

BTW: Everything is fine at Glue. I’ll take some pictures of the office someday soon. And maybe even post my presentation of Farfar and the academy. I just have to get Farfar’s permission. I’ll be back.
