Generation Criminal

Patrik Öster, 10 Oct 2008 (05:50)

Speaking of all the different generations out there.

The FRA law have been a topic for a long time now and as the Swedish goverment was just about to have some time to breath again after a major fight with the angry mob of internet users and others.

The first April, it will be easier to hunt down and reveal the illegal file sharing
on Internet. The new law could mean a new hot privacy debate for the government.

“We want to protect property rights but does not criminalize an entire generation”, it says.

Well you are just about to do it!

The world is tired

Patrik Öster, 10 Oct 2008 (02:36)

I think this picture shows how the world is feeling right now and espcially within the bank sector. I captured this man yesterday at the underground station of Bank.

I think it shows how the Global bank crisis effects us all. Go hunting!

London life!

Patrik Öster, 09 Oct 2008 (11:06)

God damn it its nice to live here in London! I have been a visitor of London and a big fan of this place since I came here in the first place, many years ago. But, I have never really seen myself in a possition spending my life here in London before. I think that its because everytime I used to visi Londont I know exactully what to expect, and dont get me wrong here, I think thats a lot to expect in the first place. For instance everyone knows about Harrods, The chamber of Horror and of course you have to do the ordinary visit of Buckingham palace .etc.

But to live here is a whole lot different compered to all that…. What did I got?

WELL. Sick clubs, great restaurangs, punk rockers, strange people, nice people, ugly people, hard work, pubs, beer, more beer, new brands, clothes, good food, and a hell of a lot more.

And a big surprise of great weather…. Could not see that coming

And so much more, and still more to come!

I will now quote my friend and roommate Gustav by the words of “FY FAN VA BRA VI HAR DET GRABBAR”!

I Could not have said it better myself!

Until next time

Day nr 23 and Pitch nr 3

Patrik Öster, 23 Sep 2008 (08:10)

Hi everyone,

Time flyes and its time to sit down and look back for a moment, and think about what I have done so far during the first 23 days of my Internship.

The wind is blowing hard up here at Parker Tower, as a mather of facts its a bloddy hurricane up here, at least it feels so regarding to how much you can manage to experience, learn, read and do in only 23 days.

I have been working with three major global brands so far, I have experieced two false fire alarms, ran a 1000 stairs, learned how to handle stress and what the word deadline REALLY means, experienced one global strategy come to life, read a millon pages, scanned the web more times and faster than Chris Anderson can spell to LONG TAIL.

And I still don’t understand one thing, Read my blog and you get the answer.

London News (Morning sandwiches)

Patrik Öster, 17 Sep 2008 (11:43)

Everything really starts to feel regular here in London, even though every new day is nothing like the other.

Useually the days at Isobar is very different regarding to what you do. But one thing that happens every day at the exact time of 11.40 is that the sandwich guy comes in and screams (Morning sandwiches). And it starts to get very interesting, no one is ever buying anything from him, not as long as have been around at least.

Nice little sandwich story, right!

Goodnight

London and Isobar news (Drama at Parker Tower)

Patrik Öster, 09 Sep 2008 (08:59)

London: Today I finally had the pleasure to meet Niku for the first time and he just fulfilled my picture of Isobar being the nice colleagues nest. Working at Parker Tower and Isobar really means nice colleagues, lots of work, superb briefs, different days, cool view and having Nigel over your head. But today I had to witness something that’s extremely bad about working at Parker Tower (at the 10th floor).

Today at 11am the fire alarm started to shout. And I think you can imagine what happened next. Off course we had to ran down the ‘’1000’’ stair high building and luckily there was false alarm SO, Yes we ran up again. And then….. No but it was hard enough.

Anyway here are some pictures from this beautiful place.

More News soon
