Cool cats!

Linda Lindstedt, 09 Dec 2008 (06:12)

Me and Catja went for lunch today. And I was really surprised to see two lovely cats hanging around in the restaurant. We all know cats are pretty clean, but still…hmm. I guess they´re good att keeping the rats off the premises at least. It felt nice and they stayed on the floor totally unaware of the guests in the restaurants.

Hats?

Catja Löfgren, 09 Dec 2008 (04:23)

well we are going to have a christmas dinner on friday, everyone has to buy hat for another person. Some did misunderstood the meaning of hat. We got very carried away in the hat shopping, I won’t be able to atend this fab event. Because my danish granddad is turning 90 and I will be in copenhagen freezing my ass off ( according to Eskil). We call the helmet the shame or naughty helmet in a classic tv- nanny style! We have found the best “hat” but it is still a surprise so I can’t show it to you yet.

First placement soon to be over …

Linda Lindstedt, 09 Dec 2008 (04:17)

I started to think of what I will miss not living in Budapest after the 22nd December. The things I will miss the most with Budapest are these:

1. The hot outdoor thermal baths, the best way to use a lazy Sunday.

2. Borjúparikasz (fantastic Hungarian veal stew in paprika sauce with home made gnocchi)

3. The Market. Love to hang there and buy sausages at Saturdays.

Having a great time up north

Pontus Erikers, 02 Dec 2008 (03:56)

Since it´s not everyday I´m in China, I decided to take trip to good old Beijing. The night train took 11,5 hours without any stop and it was a pretty smooth ride. But since I love flying I couldn´t resist to fly domestic in China on my way back. That was even better and China Eastern Airlines kicked many Western airline tails, as far as I´m concerned.

Beijing itself was a positive surprise. I have heard a lot about it from people who have been there before the Olympics and they have been fairly amused. I guess a lot of them wouldn´t recognize the city today, cause it has changed a lot. To the better that is. Apart from seeing the big sights including the Great Wall outside the city, I also had a great time riding a bicycle on the extremely wide streets of Beijing. I reckon that´s the way to explore any city in the world. And especially the capital of China.

If you’re in England tomorrow, you should stay away from the roads

Gustav Westman, 26 Nov 2008 (04:02)

Today Jon, our CEO, gave me two tickets to the Champions League game between Liverpool and Marseille at Anfield tomorrow. Since the train tickets to Liverpool was more expensive than a trip to for example Sao Paulo (my next stop), Eskil and I have rented a car that hopefully will take us all the way to Liverpool tomorrow. I’m so excited about this. We get the chance to see some world class football, see more of England than London and we also get the chance to for once drive on the wrong side of the road. Can it get any better?

Thanks Jon for the tickets.

Freeezing cold…

Eskil Busck Andersen, 24 Nov 2008 (05:26)

We’ve been blessed with good weather so far in London… but now it’s over. This is the weather forecast for London the next 3 days.

Glue is based in an old factory building with single layered windows… guess how that feels ;).
