Forecasts

It is getting colder here in London and just like Eskil wrote it is likely to be much colder from now and on. The Christmas time is knocking on the door and so is the future.
We are all awere of whats going on in the global economy and
Unfortunately its not just the weather forecast that looks much colder and bitter right now.
Yesterday The Economist and Yahoo/EIAA came by to vistit Parker Tower, Presenting their forecasts fore the next few months/years.
The Economist gave us the full picture of what happend so far and what the effect of the Global crises will do to the world during the next few years. It doesent look to good, but not to bad either! Intrenet penetration is still increasing in the world and the emerging markets is still to be explored, not at least the World Cup 2010 host of South Africa. Even though we are going to see less money to be spend and that is going to effect us all.
Just as the Economist presentation stats started to get really nasty I decided to head down to the Isobar floor to get the good news.
And just as I predicted!
And this is why I just love to be a part of this market. The growth potential is huge. We just keep on going!!! It is predicted to be another year of an upgoing trend for online advertaising and we still have so many different markets, companys and business models to conquer and innovate.
Yahoo a member of EIAA came to present the final report of 2008/09. For thoose of you who dont know about The European Interactive Advertising Association (EIAA) it was formed in 2001 to act as a common, pan-European voice for the interactive advertising industry,
And we are digesting different surveys like the EIAA everyday to understand the online activity around the world.
One more thing, watch out for pricey Christmas trees. It is predicted to be very expensive to buy a christmas tree this year due to the lack of christmas trees in Denmark and Sweden.
