One of the most well known agencies in São Paulo is Grïngo. It’s run by Andre Matarazzo, we made an interview with him covering both why he’s into advertising and some of the differences of brazil and other countries.

My plane takes of tomorrow evening.  What a sad sad fact. I’ll miss so much from here, most of all I’ll miss my girlfriend Lalai.

But before that, let’s party!

On the note of stuff happening in the agency, we presented to the client the project I’ve been working on lately. Success. They loved it. That felt good.

Got invited to a blogger event held by Samsung, essentially we got some free drinks and hung out at an icebar. Not bad at all. They’ve decided to put a bunch of their products in a 4*4 meter chunk of ice. Put it in the shopping centre nearby and holding a competition we’re you win the products inside if you manage to guess when the ice has melted.

–10°C. So they lent us these stylish silvery coats.

This week there was a fashion/music event here. Featuring two bands a day. I went there monday and wednesday. These pictures are from monday. Mauricio Fleury in particular was really nice.

…when the beach can come to you.

This happens every once in a while apparently. When it keeps raining for a bit longer, the water can rise up to the windows of the car(s) that got stuck trying to pass. 

Soon after the street was dry again.

I’ve noticed that these kind of decorations are fairly popular around here. Big buildings (shopping malls etc.) has them. Seems a bit stroboscopic/epileptic to me, but each to his own I guess.

I can’t really complain about the temperature but…

Sadly I’ll leave a few days before the Christmas…

But despite this São Paulo now sports a quite huge christmas tree. In steel.

Now, if I only could find some glögg. No IKEA here, so it is a bit of a challenge.

Concerts in the city I’m doing my first internship.

The candidates are: Bloc Party, Foals, Breeders, Spoon, Kaiser Cheifs, Vive La Fête, Yelle, Kanye West, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Digitalism, Justice, Milocovik, Juan Stewart, The National, MGMT and Mottorama. (Maybe I’m forgetting something, but then it wont make it to top 3 anyway)
